Scholars Program

Our scholar program offers teens rigorous and engaging classes that will inspire them to become leaders, independent learners, and seekers of truth.  We provide teens with a fun-loving community of peers who share their values and interests.

We offer a wide array of classes at Summit that include personal finance, gardening, emotional intelligence, logic & reason, statesmanship, character development, public speaking, critical thinking, writing, and analyzing literature and history.

Key of Liberty

We study the Revolutionary War, Declaration of Independence, Constitution of the United States, principles of government, and biographies of the Founders.

Shakespeare Conquest

Shakespeare Conquest is an immersion into the poetic language of Shakespeare.  Second Semester the students put on their own play.

Sword of Freedom and Hero Project

Sword of Freedom is a study of the Civil War.  Hero Project is a study of the heroes  during World Wars I & II.

Georgics

Learn about gardening, 

the principles of providence, self validation, mission, real-estate ownership, community stewardship, entrepreneurship.

Pyramid Project

This project focuses on understanding, recognizing and applying absolute truth using one’s core book and applying the Inteligro Method; truth, logic and reason, the characteristics of a scientist and Newtonian Math

QUEST - Traits of a Statesman & Worldviews

A year of study and writing about the characteristics of a statesman: virtue, wisdom, diplomacy, courage, inspiring greatness in others, and moving the cause of liberty.  It also includes study of the six major world views: Christianity, Islam, Secular Humanism, Marxism, Cosmic Humanism, and Postmodernism.

Unleashing your Voice Unleashing your Choice

First semester - Public speaking and critical thinking skills.

Second semester - will continue using these skills to develop sound arguments and debate with each other.

QUEST - Principles of Freedom & Jurisprudence

A year reading, discussing, and writing about great statesmen who have impacted the world for good. The class focuses on principles of freedom that our country was founded upon. It ends with writing  writing a law brief and arguing the case in front of real attorneys.

Personal Finance

Personal Finance is a class that will give students the skills to stay free from debt, develop financial discipline, become an entrepreneur, and get out of the “rat race” by becoming financially independent!

Emotional Intelligence

In this project, we will improve our Personal Self Management through creating an emotional vocabulary, learning perspective, empathy, resourcefulness, mindfulness, personality types and to control our communication.

Aligned

Aligned is a class that teaches scholars doctrine and principles of thought, habits, and faith.  These principles,  provide a person the power to create a joyful life.

Edison

Students develop their own specific area of interest, create a detailed plan with the mentor and then pursue it. They master the knowledge of the 6 Powers: Knowledge Power, Task Power, Authority Power, Relationship Power, Material Power, and Personal Power.

Science

Each year we offer a science class for our scholar students.  This class rotates between Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, and Physics.
